Okay, so I totally should have been a bit more organised with this post, but you know we still have a day before Valentine’s Day so it’s kinda still okay to be talking about Lush’s Valentine’s range for this year. Every time a new collection is released I always make it my mission to get my hands on a few of my favourites, so today I’m sharing with you my thoughts on this year’s Valentine’s releases.
Firstly, we have Prince Charming which is a bright pink shower cream that smells absolutely divine. I haven’t tried many of the Lush shower creams so it was nice to try this one out. If you like sweet fragrances or you happen to have a sweet tooth like I do, then this will be right up your street. You’re bound to fall in love with its sweet marshmallow root and vanilla pod infusion with invigorating fresh pomegranate juice and added grapefruit oil. This may not be for everyone, but if I could shower in this all day long, I genuinely would. I love everything about it and the fact it left my skin feeling silky soft and smelling totally scrumptious, what is there not to love? The only downside is that it will leave you with a huge craving for pic’n’mix.
Lovestruck could quite possibly be one of the cutest bubble bars I have ever seen. As a total digital enthusiast it was exciting to see an emoji come to life. Once you get over the adorable design of this bubble bar, the next thing you’ll notice is the scent. Sicilian lemon and geranium oils come together to create an uplifting scent. When I think of Valentine’s Day I would typically opt for more sweet and floral scents but this heart eyes emoji may have changed my mind.
The Unicorn Horn bubble bar is probably my favourite of all the products I picked up! I love the colours of this pretty bubble bar and if you know me then you will know how much I love anything unicorn, so as soon as I heard that Lush were bringing it back it was inevitable that I was going to make it mine. The Unicorn Horn this year is miles better than it has ever been, both in vibrancy and scent. With added neroli and lavender oil, it’s no wonder that this is one of my must haves from the collection! One of the ingredients is neroli oil, which Lush says increases serotonin levels in the brain which makes us feel contented and cheery – literally magical!
How could anyone resist this beauty? Rose Bombshell is a little more delicate than the others but nevertheless it is still a beautiful intricate bath bomb which I cannot wait to try. I have a soft spot for anything from Lush with the Rose Jam scent, filled with yellow rose petals rose absolute and Sicilian lemon oil, this floral treat transforms your bath into a soft, silky pink hue. The divine sweet yet sharp fragrance fills the whole bathroom with the balancing, restoring and uplifting ingredients help you to recharge and unwind. If you’re not a fan of rose scents then this one may not be for you.
Overall, I am head over heels in love with my Lush Valentine’s Day picks and I cannot wait to make my way through them. These products would make the perfect Valentine’s treat to your partner or even yourself. Go on, you deserve it!
