Everyone knows that contouring is without a doubt the number one trend in the makeup world right now and SO many brands have created kits, palettes and products to make it easier for those of us who want chiseled cheekbones. The most popular one would have to be the Anastasia Beverly Hills contour kit (can you believe I haven’t tried it yet?!) but for anyone who hasn’t got a spare £40, here is a fantastic alternative!
The shades in this palette don’t actually have specific names but there are 5 baked powders; ranging from peach to banana to bronze, 2 shimmer shades (which remind me of the MAC Mineralise Skinfinish) and one satin shade in a light peach colour. My favourite of the 8 shades is the lightest white shade in the top right corner as it is perfect for highlighting those key areas of your face that you want to accentuate. It also looks amazing if you use it as a highlighter for the inner corners of your eyes!
Retailing at just £8, this palette is a must-have in your makeup collection. Not only is it amazing value for money, the quality of the powders are stunning and the colours blend nicely to create custom shades depending on the makeup look you want to achieve. It also comes with a full size mirror which is a massive bonus – you can also bend the mirror all the way back so you’re able to set it on a surface whilst applying.
This AMAZING palette now plays a huge part in my daily makeup routine and I love to use it with my Luxie 505 large angled brush which has an angled tip for extra precision.
